I was riding my bike down what may be my favorite street in Knoxville, Jackson Ave, and had to stop and record this view. Sometimes when you least expect it, Knoxville is really beautiful.

I've often thought the same thing about Jackson Ave. in the evening, but looking in the opposite direction!
ya - that's definitely a favorite stretch of street for me. i wonder if/when those old buildings will get restored, and they really make that space amazing to inhabit?
has anyone seen the renderings for the sanders pace renno of that corner building? there's a couple drawings in their window on gay st.
