and narration is WAY overused in tv. it reminds me of the writer's seminar in "adaptation": "and god help you if you resort to narration!"
except for arrested development- they overused narration on purpose. the narrator was almost another character.
I'm stumped, although there's a bell ringing somewhere in my head.
